The Bank of St. Elizabeth understands that confidentiality is important to our customers and essential in our business. It is our policy that all personal information customers supply us will be considered confidential. We do not, nor intend in the future, to share personal information about our customers to anyone. We commit to our customers that we will take reasonable steps to protect the privacy of the information shared with us.
The intent of this disclosure is to inform you of the nonpublic personal information we collect and the lengths we take to protect that information. Nonpublic information is any information that the Bank of St. Elizabeth acquires in conjunction with providing financial services to you. We collect nonpublic personal information about you from the following services:
- Information we receive from you on applications or other forms;
- Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates, or others; and
- Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency.
Nonpublic information does not include information that can be obtained from public sources such as telephone books, or other public resources.
The Bank of St. Elizabeth collects, retains, and uses information about individual customers only where the Bank believes doing so is allowed by law and useful to administering the Bank's operations or the customers' accounts and to providing customers with beneficial products and services. In addition we do not disclose nonpublic information about former customers, except permitted by law.
Employee access to customer information is limited to these employees who need the information for bank business reasons. The Bank trains its employees to understand the importance of confidentiality and customer privacy. Employees are told that any employee violating the privacy policies will be disciplined. Their obligation still exists after their employment with the Bank of St. Elizabeth ceases.
